Virtual Shop Experience

virtual shop experience

These are forms of actual Virtual Shopping Experiences that exist today.

Virtual Shop

In South Korea, where people are so busy and work so many hours they can't even set time aside to do grocery shopping. They spend a lot of time commuting from their homes to their jobs so Tesco thought: "Why not bring the shop to where they spent most of their time: Bus Stops and Train Stations?"

And so the Virtual Shop was born.

Commuters can grab their smartphone, scan the QR codes of what they need and then select a time for home delivery.

Virtual Mirror

The technology around Augmented Reality has advanced so much that it literally looks more real than virtual.

The same concept of Virtual Mirrors is being taken to physical retail shops. They effectively are screens with a software in which customers can try on new clothes and wares without the need of an actual fitting room and getting undressed.
